I'm Abigail Scott, an author, adventurer, and mother of three. When I'm not navigating the beautiful chaos of motherhood, you can find me tackling the turbulent waters as a professional whitewater kayaker or scaling impressive rock faces as a climbing guide. The rush of adrenaline, whether from kayaking or climbing, is a feeling I cherish deeply. But the thrill doesn't stop there; I capture the breathtaking allure of nature through my lens as a professional photographer. And when I'm not submerged in the wild, my software engineering skills amplify my outdoor pursuits, allowing me to harness technology in unique ways. Through my writings, whether articles or blog posts, I share not just my adventures but my heart, hoping to spark a flame of inspiration in others to break boundaries and experience the world's wonders.

Sevylor Fiji 2-Person Kayak Blue

Sevylor Fiji 2-Person Kayak Blue

Description

Enjoy the feel of a full-size kayak with the convenience of an inflatable boat when you're riding in a Sevylor Fiji 2-Person Kayak. The two-person kayak comes equipped with a fixed seat in the rear and a removable seat in the middle. The 22-gauge PVC construction lets this kayak stand up to multiple seasons on the water and is backed up with our Airtight System, which is guaranteed not to leak. Just in case you do hit a snag, the multiple air chambers will help you get back to shore.

22-gauge PVC construction is rugged for lake use

Multiple air chambers allow another chamber to stay inflated if one is punctured

Airtight System is guaranteed not to leak

Mini Double Lock and Double Lock valves use two locking points for easy inflation/deflation

Spray covers block splashes to help keep you dry

Fits one to two people (removable middle seat)

NMMA certified to hold up to 400 lbs.

How stable is it with one person? It's very stable, I've taking it up rivers and on the lake. I have not taken it white water rafting, I would rather have a duckie kayak. I've enjoyed it and it's cheap entertainment. I must say the trade off is that it does not track as well as a plastic kayak, but you can't put a plastic kayak in the back seat or front seat of your car.

Is this self bailing? No it is not.

Does this glide through the water better than an inflatable boat? This is the 1st inflatable kayak/boat I’ve owned. I live on a canal...so it’s perfect for me. No waves or rocks, but a really good workout.

How thick is the PVC? First feature bullet point is... "22-gauge PVC construction is rugged for lake use."
