Charter Overview
Looking to plan an unforgettable fishing trip in South Carolina? Look no further than Above & Below Charters! Our knowledgeable captain, David, is a seasoned expert with a USCG 200 Ton Master certification and a lifetime of experience fishing the Atlantic. Specializing in deep sea fishing, Captain David is eager to guide your group on an exhilarating day out on the water.
Enjoy your fishing adventure aboard our spacious 38’ “Salty Mistress,” a comfortable sport fishing boat that can accommodate up to 6 anglers. The boat features a cabin where kids can relax during the journey to the fishing grounds. Once it's time to fish, you'll appreciate the convenience of our fighting chair and walkaround option, minimizing the chance of losing your catch near the boat.
Our boat also boasts a tuna tower, giving you an advantageous perspective while pursuing your prey, as well as plenty of rod holders for trolling. Onboard, you'll find quality gear from Penn and Shimano, making it easy to troll with confidence. If you have a desire to try spearfishing or snorkeling, simply inform the captain in advance. We offer 1 spear gun, 1 Hawaiian sling, and snorkeling equipment for up to 4 people.
Depending on the chosen excursion, our trips target various exciting species including Blue Marlin, Yellowfin and Blackfin Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Red Snapper, Wahoo, Grouper, and more. While trolling is the primary technique, there may be an opportunity for some bottom fishing on longer trips.
Families are welcome on our charters, with kids of all ages encouraged to join (accompanied by parents). It's a thrilling experience for children, although it's important to note that life vests are provided for their safety.
Rest assured, our prices are all-inclusive. Your reservation covers top-quality rods and reels, bait and tackle, and ice for your catch. Additionally, the fishing license for your group is taken care of. All we ask is for you to bring a small cooler stocked with food and drinks. While we permit canned beer onboard, please remember to drink responsibly. Don't forget sun protection, a hat, and comfortable deck shoes layered with appropriate clothing.
Don't miss out on an incredible offshore adventure – book your trip with Above & Below Charters today! Please note, due to fluctuating fuel prices, a surcharge may apply. Rest assured, our captain will inform you of any additional costs prior to your trip.
