Whether you're a first-timer or unsure of the process, Captain Dennis will guide you every step of the way. He'll meet you and up to 3 friends at a designated location in Eleven Mile State Park, ensuring optimal conditions for dropping your line.
This expedition is all about hands-on learning. Captain Dennis will teach you how to drill holes in the ice, use the provided gear, bait your hook, and reel in your catch. While waiting for fish, you can stay cozy in a heated ice hut and take in the stunning snowy scenery.
You have the option to target Walleye, a fun and challenging species to catch, or go after Northern Pike and Trout with a specialized expedition. Let your guide handle all the details while you focus on enjoying the experience.
Captain Dennis takes care of everything, supplying special rods, reels, and a warm shelter to shield you from the cold. Just remember to bring snacks, non-alcoholic drinks, and appropriate clothing for this adventure (extra warm layers are a must!).
