Charter Overview
Make your next trip to Nashville an unforgettable adventure by going fishing with Big Cat Safaris. Captain Eddie, with years of sportfishing expertise, will be your knowledgeable guide for the day. These waters are teeming with game fish, particularly Catfish, which will be the main focus of your trip. Drifting and bottom fishing with heavy tackle are common techniques. If you catch fish, you have the option of having them cleaned so you can take them home and cook them right away. Your fishing vessel for the day is a 24’ Bayliner bay boat that can accommodate up to 4 passengers. It is equipped with everything necessary for a successful day on the water. For your convenience, there is a toilet on board. Captain Eddie will provide the fishing rods and reels. Live bait is available, but it's recommended to inquire about it in advance to determine if you'll need to catch it yourself. A First Mate will be present to help ensure that everything runs smoothly during your trip. Mates work hard to make your experience enjoyable, so it is customary and greatly appreciated to tip them 10% to 20%. Prior to boarding, each member of your group must purchase a local fishing license. This information is usually accessible online, or you can ask Captain Eddie for assistance. Big Cat Safaris is a family-friendly charter service, so feel free to bring your kids along and introduce them to the joys of fishing at a young age! Keep in mind that children are required to wear life vests, so confirm if the appropriate sizes are available on board. Additionally, remember to pack snacks to avoid hungry tantrums! It is recommended to bring bottled water, non-spray sunblock, and sunglasses. A few beverages will be provided on board. While there may be instances where a fish escapes, your day on the water will always be memorable with Big Cat Safaris!
