Join us aboard Blue Chip, a remarkable 53’ Custom Carolina sport fishing boat crafted by renowned designer Gary Davis. Powered by twin 800 HP Caterpillar diesels, she effortlessly cruises at a speed of 30 knots. Equipped with state-of-the-art navigation and electronics, tournament-grade Shimano tackle, a spacious 130 class fighting chair, and a generous cockpit with mezzanine seating, Blue Chip ensures an exceptional fishing experience.
The salon features two large sofas, a sink, a refrigerator, a microwave, and is comfortably cooled by dual a/c units. Blue Chip accommodates up to 6 guests along with the crew. Captain Jon Bunn, the owner and captain of Blue Chip, began his fishing journey at the age of 4, catching his first Yellowfin Tuna with the guidance of his older brother. Since then, he has been devoted to fishing both recreationally and commercially, catering to private owners and charter clients.
Captain Jon and his experienced first mate form a stellar team dedicated to ensuring an unforgettable fishing trip and creating cherished memories. All licenses, tackle, and bait are included, so all you need to bring are your preferred drinks and snacks. Please note that Blue Chip Sportfishing OBX reserves the right to add a reasonable fuel surcharge.
