Start your adventure at Shellman Fishing Camp, a coastal paradise surrounded by coastal marshes and Blackbird Creek. These protected estuary waters, connected to the Atlantic Ocean via islands like Harris Neck National Wildlife Refuge, Sapelo Island, and St Catherines Island, provide the perfect environment for a variety of coastal species. From big Red Drum to Spotted Sea Trout and even Tarpon, you can expect an abundance of local fish. If you're into fly fishing, bring your own equipment and your guide will assist you in the local flats and marshes.
Your fishing trip will take place on a well-maintained 22' Pathfinder boat, ideal for both inshore creeks and flats as well as offshore excursions up to 8 miles. Simply communicate your preferences to the captain, and they will tailor the experience to suit your needs. The captain departs from various marinas in the area – contact them to determine the most convenient one for you.
All the necessary fishing gear will be provided, so you only need to bring snacks, drinks, weather protection, and polarised sunglasses. This family-friendly charter welcomes kids on board, ensuring an enjoyable outing for everyone.
