If you are looking to experience fishing in Port Canaveral, Extreme Sport Fishing is your ultimate choice. Captain Jason, with his extensive sportfishing expertise, will serve as your guide throughout the trip.
Depending on the season, you can expect to catch a variety of fish species including Amberjack, Cobia, Mahi Mahi, Flounder, Goliath Grouper, Red Grouper, Scamp Grouper, Wahoo, Blackfin Tuna, Tripletail, Snook, Sailfish, and more. Trolling and bottom fishing techniques using both light and heavy tackle will be employed.
Families are welcome to join the adventure, and the charter is kid-friendly. Feel free to inquire about the availability of child-sized life vests or bring your own. Remember to bring snacks to keep everyone energized and happy throughout the trip.
Captain Jason invites you on a 33' Stuart Angler center console which can accommodate up to 6 passengers. The boat is equipped with outriggers, downriggers, and other essential fishing equipment. It also offers wheelchair accessibility and has a convenient onboard toilet. Rods, reels, and lures will be provided by your captain. Live bait can be arranged upon request.
A First Mate will be present to ensure the smooth running of the trip. It is customary to offer a 10-20% tip to the mates, as they often work for tips.
Your fishing license for the day will be covered by the charter boat, relieving you of any worries. However, keep in mind that certain fish species may have special regulations regarding catch and release. It is recommended to consult with the captain for specific information.
Before heading out, make sure to bring a hat, sunglasses, bottled water, and non-spray sunblock. If you wish to bring other beverages, simply inquire with Captain Jason. Moderate alcohol consumption is permitted, but avoid hard liquor and glass bottles.
