Charter Overview
Looking for a Lake Michigan fishing charter? Consider Finquest Sportfishing, a top choice. With over 40 years of experience on the lake and a lifelong connection to Kenosha, the captain guarantees an incredible fishing experience.
Finquest Charters provides cutting-edge equipment and embraces the latest innovations in Great Lakes fishing. Their 35-foot Trojan motor yacht offers a spacious and weatherproof experience, equipped with a coach, v-berth, dinette, and a clean bathroom. It surpasses all U.S.C.G. safety and equipment requirements. Powered by twin 350 HP Mercruiser C.I. V-8 engines, this vessel can accommodate up to six anglers and is fully rigged with state-of-the-art navigational electronics and sport fishing gear.
The fishing season kicks off in mid-April with Brown Trout and Coho Salmon. Mid-May is known for the "hottest bite on the lake" with Coho ranging from 3 to 6 lbs. Mid-June brings stable weather and larger fish, and the captain heads offshore for a "Grand Slam." July through August offers trophy-sized fish, with the option to fish in shallow water. September and October are less crowded but still offer great fishing, especially for Kings, Rainbows, and Lakers. Lake Trout spawn in November, providing ample feeding opportunities.
Every trip with Finquest Sportfishing includes exclusive Shimano Talora rods, Tekota reels, tackle, and lures. The captain cleans and bags your catch, ready for cooking. For a plentiful cooler, opt for a 6 or 8-hour trip. Keep in mind, a two-day fishing license costs $14 each.
