Step aboard the "Doris-Ceil," a 23' Jones Brothers Light Tackle Edition center console powered by a 200 HP Yamaha engine. This vessel is perfect for both nearshore and longer excursions. Equipped with state-of-the-art navigational electronics, a cooler, and professional accessories, the boat features a flat deck from bow to stern with pop-up cleats and specialized lighting to prevent fly lines from tangling during battle with fish.
Captain Peter kicks off the season in May and continues leading trips until the last week of October. Conveniently located near the mouth of the Thames River in New London, you'll have access to prime fishing grounds within just 30 minutes of the marina.
Expect only the best gear in Captain Peter's arsenal. Fly fishing enthusiasts will be furnished with G Loomis fly rods ranging from 9 to 13 weights, paired with Abler or Nautilus fly reels and Jim Teeny full sink lines. For light tackle spinning and baitcasting, you'll be provided with top-notch G Loomis or No. 8 Tackle Company rods and Shimano reels.
Your fishing adventure can be tailored to meet your specific desires. Target a variety of prized species including Striped Bass, Bluefish, Blackfish, Black Seabass, False Albacore, Scup, Fluke, and Bonito. Share your preference with Captain Peter, and he'll ensure you have the opportunity to land the fish of a lifetime.
