Charter Overview
Fraser Legends Fishing, located in North Vancouver, invites you to create your own legendary fishing experience. Catching a Sturgeon is an unparalleled achievement that allows you to set your own personal record while contributing to the conservation of this extraordinary prehistoric fish.
Captain Peter Krahn, the driving force behind your trip, is a dedicated supporter of the Sturgeon Conservation Society and an authorized Sturgeon-tagger. The adventures he offers aboard his charter boat prioritize the well-being of these remarkable creatures.
On your excursion with Capt. Peter, you will participate in tagging, measuring, and assessing the health of these majestic fish before releasing them back into the Fraser, Pitt, or Harrison rivers. With their acrobatic nature, you can anticipate witnessing awe-inspiring leaps out of the water!
Your collected fish data will be submitted to the Fraser River White Sturgeon Conservation Society for documentation and record-keeping purposes. If you are the first person to catch and tag a particular fish, your name will be recorded as the original angler, making you an integral part of that fish's historical narrative.
Fishing takes place on the captain's 19' KingFisher jet boat, specifically designed for navigating the freshwater fishing grounds. Equipped with essential safety and navigational equipment, this vessel comfortably accommodates up to 4 guests. Please note that there may be periods of waiting for fish to bite, so children must be 12 years or older to participate.
Sturgeon fishing is available from March to January, and weather conditions can be variable. Therefore, the captain recommends dressing in layers for your comfort. Your rods and reels are provided, so simply obtain a fishing license and bring a waterproof camera to capture stunning images of these incredible fish.
Join Fraser Legends Fishing for an unforgettable encounter with a fish that inhabited the earth during the time of dinosaurs. Prepare for an extraordinary experience like no other!
