Captain Derek is not only the master of the charter but also actively involved with the West Michigan Walleye Club as the Tournament Director. His accomplishments include winning the prestigious Angler of the Year title in 2021 and achieving the second place in 2023. Derek continues to participate in various tournaments throughout the year, including the Basspro / Cabelas National Team Championship.
