Derek, who is dedicated to getting you on the fish. Our techniques include bottom fishing, trolling, drift fishing, and jigging, tailored to the species you're targeting such as Walleye, Perch, and Pike, depending on the season and weather. Join us for 4 to 6-hour trips and fish until time or limits.
Fishing is done from a spacious 21' Nitro boat, accommodating up to 5 anglers at a time. The price of your trip includes all the necessary equipment like rods, reels, and terminal tackle for a productive day on the water.
Capt. Derek is actively involved in the West Michigan Walleye Club, serving as the Tournament Director. In 2021, he secured the 1st place Angler of the year and achieved the biggest season total weight. In 2023, he finished 2nd place for Angler of the year and continues to participate in various tournaments throughout the year, including the Basspro / Cabelas National Team Championship.
Before the trip, remember to obtain a valid fishing license. You're allowed to keep any legally catchable fish. This charter is child-friendly, so bring your kids along for a memorable fishing adventure.
