Lagoona Guide Service: Experience the best Bass fishing on Mille Lacs Lake with Capt. Ryan. Top-notch equipment, expert guidance, and a trip of a lifetime.
Charter Overview
Established in 2011 by the skilled Capt. Ryan Kelly, Lagoona Guide Service offers an exceptional fishing experience. Located at Mille Lacs Lake, recently ranked as the top Bass fishery in the US by Bassmaster, you can be confident that you're in the right place to pursue Smallmouth Bass. With the guidance of an experienced professional, your trip will be unforgettable.
Our outings begin on a fully-equipped 21' Ranger 621, designed to accommodate up to 4 guests comfortably. This state-of-the-art boat features the latest electronics and hardware. We provide technique-specific rods and reels sourced from renowned manufacturers such as G. Loomis, St. Croix, Shimano, and Daiwa. Additionally, the boat is equipped with a powerful 250 HP Mercury engine and a wireless Minn Kota motor.
Our fishing season starts in early May and focuses on Smallmouth Bass and Walleye. However, the fishing for these species slows down by early November. Muskie season starts in early June, with the biggest fish typically caught in November. Please note that both Bass and Muskie trips operate on a catch and release basis.
From December 1, the ice fishing season begins, targeting species like Walleye, Perch, Pike, and Tullibee (Whitefish). Ice fishing usually concludes by the end of March.
At Lagoona Guide Service, we aim to provide more than just a fishing experience. Capt. Ryan is happy to share his knowledge of boat control, equipment setup, understanding electronics and mapping, and seasonal fish patterns if you're interested.
Our prices include all fishing equipment, as well as catch cleaning and filleting (for the species that can be kept). Don't forget to bring your fishing licenses and pack some snacks and drinks for the day.
Capt. Ryan Kelly is dedicated to ensuring you learn something new and have an unforgettable day on the water. Contact Lagoona Guide Service now and book your preferred date!
