Join No Excuses Striper Fishing for an exciting adventure on Lake Lanier. Experience various fishing techniques to catch the hardest fighting fish in the area. Discover the fishing grounds of Lake Lanier and its two tributary rivers, Chattahoochee and Chestatee. Our captain has a vast network of local guides to ensure you get on the fish quickly.
Our 2016, 22’ Sea Hunt center console boat, powered by a 200 HP Yamaha outboard, will be your vessel for the day. Equipped with the latest gear and technology, including the state-of-the-art Hummingbird Solix 15 for mapping, communication, and fish finding. The boat can accommodate up to 4 anglers, all fishing at the same time.
Anglers of all skill levels are welcome. Our experienced guide, Brad Whitehead, enjoys teaching new fishing techniques that are immediately effective. You'll have the opportunity to try trolling, bottom fishing, jigging, and more. All tackle is provided by the charter. While Striped Bass is the main target, incidental catches may include Spotted Bass, Largemouth Bass, Catfish, Crappie, Longnose Gar, and Walleye.
Prior to the trip, you'll need to obtain a fishing license from the Georgia DNR webpage. Bait is provided and included in the price. Feel free to bring your own food, drinks, and non-spray sunscreen. Trips are usually available on weekends, but with a one-week notice, we can accommodate trips during the week as well.
