Charter Overview
Captain Jeff Federko, with 35 years of experience, runs and operates Orca Charters on Lake Ontario from Pulaski, NY. His unmatched expertise ensures a successful fishing experience every day.
The charter season on Lake Ontario begins in May with a focus on Brown Trout near the shores. This is an excellent time to catch numerous fish as they come in shallow to feed.
As we progress into June and July, the Eastern Basin of Lake Ontario teems with Lake Trout. These trips offer action-packed days, with fish ranging from 5 to 20 pounds. King Salmon are also present during this time.
By August and September, it's game time for King Salmon and Coho Salmon as they migrate into Mexico Bay before running up the famous Salmon River. These fish are known for their formidable strength and provide an exhilarating fight.
