Charter Overview
Ice fishing is a popular winter activity in Minnesota, and if you're new to it, Prime Time Guide Service is here to help. Let Benjamin Elfelt, a knowledgeable local from Forest Lake, organize a fun and successful ice fishing experience for you.
Ben has spent a significant portion of his life exploring the waters of Minnesota in all seasons. He knows exactly where the fish gather during winter and what strategies work best to entice them to bite.
During your trip, you'll meet with your guide and, depending on ice conditions, travel to the best fishing spots either by foot, snowmobile, or truck. Ben can accommodate groups of up to six people, so bring your family or friends along for the adventure.
Your guide will provide all the necessary ice fishing equipment, including rods, reels, and tackle. He'll handle drilling holes in the ice, leaving you to wait for the fish to take the bait.
Your target species for the day will include big Walleye, Crappie, Northern Pike, and Muskellunge. Some of these fish can reach impressive sizes, making the challenge of catching them through thick layers of ice a true test of strength and skill.
Before embarking on your ice fishing expedition, ensure you have a valid fishing license and dress warmly for Minnesota's chilly temperatures. Consider bringing a thermos with a warm drink and snacks. Ben will take care of all other details.
Come and fish with Prime Time Guide Service for an unforgettable ice fishing experience!
