Charter Overview
Experience the natural wonders of Ontario on your next freshwater fishing excursion with Redwood Sportfishing Charters! Captain Dean Lapham, inheritor of his father Dale's charter, possesses the knowledge and expertise to ensure a successful fishing trip.
Step aboard their 18' Hobo Cruiser flats boat, designed for effortless navigation on St. Mary's River. This boat comfortably accommodates up to 5 individuals fishing simultaneously, making it ideal for family and friends outings. For your convenience, a porta-potty toilet is available onboard. Equipped with a wireless trolling motor, the boat ensures a silent approach to avoid startling fish.
Capt. Dean provides all the necessary fishing gear, with Daiwa reels and Berkley rods as his preferred choice. Live bait is also supplied. He will demonstrate various techniques applicable to these waters and, upon request, expertly clean and fillet any catch you wish to bring home.
St. Mary's River is renowned for its bountiful Rainbow Trout, Whitefish, and Salmon populations. Depending on the season, you can target Coho, Pink, Chinook, and Atlantic Salmon. Additionally, expect encounters with Walleye, Perch, Pike, and Bass.
Capt. Dean's expertise extends from the rapids of St. Mary's River to the Garden River mouth and Lake George. This region offers exceptional Salmon fishing opportunities, and through Lake Superior State University's Atlantic Salmon stocking program, these prospects are ensured for future generations.
Don't forget to obtain a fishing license and bring a small cooler. You are welcome to bring your own snacks and drinks, while Capt. Dean can arrange a box lunch for an extra fee if notified in advance of any allergies.
Embark on an unforgettable fishing adventure and explore the breathtaking natural beauty of Ontario with Redwood Sportfishing Charters today!
