Charter Overview
Looking to indulge in fly fishing? Look no further! With over five decades of experience as a fly fisherman and two plus decades as a guide, I offer an unparalleled fly fishing experience. Having fished in 42 states and three continents, encompassing both fresh and saltwater, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to each outing. Formerly affiliated with Orvis and currently teaching fly fishing classes for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service in Jamestown, KY, you can trust in my passion and skill.
Please note that you may need to bring your own gear or rent equipment for an additional fee. Additionally, waders and wading shoes will need to be provided by you, as I do not have these available. To ensure a seamless experience, I encourage you to contact Mark in advance for further details and to come prepared.
These waters house a variety of game fish, including Brook Trout, Brown Trout, Rainbow Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Sunfish, and more, provided conditions are optimal. For this guided experience, Mark welcomes groups of up to 2 individuals. Expect to traverse the terrain on foot as there is no boat involved and dress appropriately for the current weather conditions.
It is essential for everyone in your group to obtain a local fishing license prior to the excursion. More information, including any applicable exceptions, can be found online. Dressing in layers and wearing suitable footwear is recommended (if unsure, feel free to ask!). Regardless of the weather, it's always smart to bring sunscreen, sunglasses, and bottled water.
With that, you are fully equipped to relish the magnificent outdoors with Thank Goodness I Fly Fish!
