If you're planning your next fishing adventure near Atlantic Beach, look no further than Tombstone Fishing Charters. Captain Jared Best, a lifelong fisherman, owns and operates this local charter. Whether you prefer fishing closer to shore for Bluefish and Spanish Mackerel or venturing into deeper waters for Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Snapper, Grouper, and Triggers, Capt. Jared has the expertise and equipment to meet your needs.
Take advantage of daytime Swordfish trips or try your luck at Giant Bluefin Tuna when the weather cools down from November to January. In 2018, Capt. Jared acquired a newly built 36' center console fishing vessel. This boat can accommodate up to 6 guests, with 4 individuals fishing simultaneously. It features two powerful 300 HP Suzuki engines capable of reaching a maximum speed of 50 knots, ensuring you get to your fishing spots swiftly on offshore trips.
Even if you're a beginner, Captain Jared will provide instruction on reeling in your catch. If you're interested, he can also teach you the process of bait preparation, casting, and more. All fishing equipment, including Shimano rods and reels, lures, and bait, will be provided. Additionally, a fishing license is covered. Remember to bring snacks, drinks, sunscreen, and sunglasses to enhance your experience on board.

What are the trip rates for Tombstone Charters?
- 4 Hour Trip – Nearshore (AM): $550 per group with an additional $50 per person after 4 guests.
- Half Day Trip – Nearshore (PM): $550 per group with an additional $50 per person after 4 guests.
- Half Day Trip – Giant Bluefin Tuna: $950 per group with an additional $100 per person after 3 guests for a 6-hour excursion.
- 3/4 Day Trip: $1,100 per group with an additional $75 per person after 4 guests for an 8-hour experience.
- Full Day Trip – Giant Bluefin Tuna: $1,400 per group with an additional $100 per person after 3 guests for an 11-hour adventure.
- 11 Hour Trip – Offshore: $1,500 per group with an additional $100 per person after 4 guests.
- 11 Hour Trip – Swordfish: $1,700 per group with an additional $150 per person after 4 guests for an 11-hour excursion.
