Rugged and Light
I have had every Fenix since the first and the original Instinct as well. This, to me, is the best of the bunch so far! The large screen with crisp readout, light weight, and comfy band make this a no brainer for every day wear. Now I might upgrade with this summer's impending releases of new watches, but for now I'm set :)

All the features I need with battery life!
I'm happy with the product so far. It has all the features I need and more. The battery last over a month so I don't have to constantly charge it.

Love this watch
I’ve had it for several weeks, still on 80% because the solar keeps it charged. Had to read up on how that worked and still discovering the features but overall I love it.

All you need in a Watch with uncomplicated looks
I bought this to have a watch that delivers instant and precise information about everything you do (or need to do) on a daily basis, for improving your health and performance ins different sports. You can read all the information clearly and every glance is there to customize your experience. The battery is insane, and with the solar charging you get the confidence that it will last for every activity you do! Every once in a while i thought that the lack of a color display will disappoint, but even the tracks that i saved for later were displayed flawlessly when i needed them, and even better, the two color display is crisp clear and saves a lot of battery usage. The rugged design will make you think you can wear it for ever (and i haven't stopped using it since i bought it a month ago) and it will deliver precise info no matter the conditions or adventure. This is basically an awesome watch that will endure and accompanies everywhere and everything you do!

Garmin 2x Solar
Two weeks using it… I like the solar power feature keeping it going.. I look forward to that even being better. I like the fact you are not always having to stay connected to a charger for a watch, I do wish it was amoled features with solar powered. I do wish you could have different colors for a watch face. I’m happy that the solar power feature works though

Doesn't come off my wrist!
This has been a game changer for me... I use it to help understand my sleep, keep my steps in check, making sure I'm getting them in, and also to observe my heart rate... all of that on the regular! This has been a genuine blessing to also not have to charge it every night like my old watch from another brand. This has been incredible!

Excellent Watch, Crazy Battery Life
I picked up the Garmin Instinct 2X Solar as a replacement for a android smartwatch. This device does all the basics I am looking for and does them well: notifications, fitness tracking, sleep tracking. I haven't taken this backpacking yet, but I think this is going to be a huge improvement when in the backwoods for days away from electricity. Even with PulseOx monitoring and a lack of outdoor time (just coming out of second Winter here in Michigan), I am seeing 20+ days of battery life without a charge. My previous Android Smartwatches were at best 3 days between charges. This watch also feels very good on the wrist, and the overall device is very rugged. I do have to wear it on my opposite hand, as tattoos interfere with the HR sensor, but had the same issue on other watches. Have not yet tried the sticker trick that I used on previous watches.

Heart rate doesn’t work with tattoos
I love the watch, it ticks all the boxes for me except the heart rate monitor doesn’t read through tattoos. I had an instinct tactical before, read through tattoos fine. I wanted to upgrade and went with this one, pretty disappointed. Now body battery, training readiness, and sleep score do me no good. I tried the epoxy sticker trick, works sometime, doesn’t most times (I am constantly having to adjust it so it'll work). I really like the watch, the features are everything I want in a watch, except for the HRM.

Connectivity Issues but Overall Good
I have some connectivity issues with this Instinct 2X Solar. I also have the Tactical Instinct 2x and the Whitestone band Instinct 2x as well as the Epix Pro 2 Gen and the Tactix Delta. I do not have any connectivity issues with those watches. The features on the Solar are great.
