The XPD Pack Raft has the exact same profile as Kokopelli's minimalist, packable Rogue-lite Raft, with the exception of stronger and heavier materials that make it more suitable for those extra-intense adventures. While the lighter Rogue-lite caters to bikepackers and ultralight backpackers a bit better, the XPD's sturdier construction complements everyday fishermen, hunters, and weekend warriors who car camp next to lakes most weekends.
Backcountry skiers have even opted for the XPD instead of sleds for hut-to-hut tours because it's lighter and more durable. Reinforced PVC provides stronger durability to shrug off pointed sticks and rocky takeoffs. It still packs small enough for you to strap it to your pack and take it anywhere you want. The inflatable seat doesn't include a back rest since the back storage is sized to fit your backpack, allowing you to use it as built-in support.

Decent not great
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
Purchased on blow-out sale so I don't have too much to complain about w/ pricing. But this raft is a squeeze for sure and doesn't track very well so it will be relegated to rivers with a swift current, somewhat obviously. It's packability is decent enough but it's not featherlight so carrying this in addition to gear will bring on a lil burn. Decent overall but not an all arounder.
