This marine medicine guide includes a variety of essential supplies to treat cuts, scrapes, and other injuries. The kit features a waterproof bag to keep the contents dry, as well as bandage scissors for cutting dressings. It also includes pre-cut and shaped moleskin for blister prevention, sterile dressings and bandages, and splinter and tick remover forceps. There are supplies to treat bleeding, including a wound irrigation tool and butterfly closure bandages. The kit also contains tincture of benzoin and medications to treat pain and illness, as well as burn cream for first-degree burns. Additional dressings, bandages, and medications are included, as well as a CPR face shield and a 90% heat reflective emergency blanket. For more severe injuries, there is a tourniquet and wound closure strips. Other items in the kit include After Bite Xtra for insect bites, eyewash for eye injuries, and a waterproof case with a pressure relief valve. There are also EMT shears, stockinette tubular bandage, C-Splint, AfterBurn aloe vera gel with lidocaine, antacid, cortisone cream, a hazardous waste bag, digital thermometer, CPR pocket mask, oral airways, sterile scalpel with an 11 blade, and waterproof and transparent adhesive bandages. To keep your digestive health in check, the kit also includes Metamucil fiber and oral rehydration salts. Lastly, there is lip balm with SPF-15 to protect your lips from the sun.
