The HotForge carabiners are lighter than previous generations and have larger rope-bearing surfaces and flatter profiles to prevent accidental openings. Additionally, the noses have been tweaked to make clipping easier, and the keylock noses ensure there is no chance of snagging while unclipping. The stiff and robust dogbone provides a comfortable grip, allowing you to assess moves confidently. The inclusion of a StraitJacket stabilizes the rope-clipping carabiner, making clipping even easier.
