A: It uses a Micro SD Card. I have Lakemaster. I believe it will also take Navionics. I’m not sure what format the Platinum Chip is.

Q: What is required for this unit to control a MinnKota terra nova trolling motor?

A: Look at the minn kota website, they have a guide. The answer is “it depends”. If you are just putting this at your bow and directly connecting, not much. If you have a “link” unit you need to connect both the sonar and Ethernet. A quick visit to the website will get you where you need to go.

Q: Does this unit have GPS and can i use ilink?

A: Yes it has GPS built in the unit. As for ilink I am not sure. You can find out directly from Hummingbird.
