High angle. It's a good quality paddle for touring around the bay and ocean where I am in socal.

2 pieces- nicely packaged. Must add that I love the "rule" on the paddle shaft.
The female side of the paddle tube has a 1’ long section that is oval shaped is this normal or do I need to return it?
It's normal they oval is there to help you hold the paddle correctly with out having to look at your blade.
