I am 5.2 with inseam 28"... the first foot space is perfect for me ... 30" from the back of the seat... I can reach the second foot space with straight legs 35" from the back of the seat... 3rd (last) foot space is 42" from the back of the seat a d I can't reach it even if I tip toe to stretch ... hope that helps ... my husband ran out and bought a larger version of a sit on top Pelican and his kayak is quite a bit bigger than mine ... this one is 8 feet ... his is 10 feet ... same style ... ride on top!
