Pelican - Sonic 80X Youth Kayak - Sit-on-Top - Recreational Kayak - 8ft

4.5/5

Description

  • Safe: Our unique manufacturing process allows us to include additional flotation inside the hull of all of our sit-on-tops in order to meet or surpass ABYC standards. This kayak holds a maximum weight capacity of 225 lb and if any water gets in, the scupper holes at the bottom of the kayak will help drain it out, which means more safety for the kids and peace of mind for the parents! This kayak also includes a safety flag.
  • Stable: The twin tunnel hull offers superior stability for a secure and steady ride. It also makes it incredibly easy to get in and out of the kayak.
  • Lightweight: Made of an exceptionally durable high molecular weight polyethylene, our kayaks require less materials to be built. At 7 ft 9 in and weighing only 35 lb, this kayak is perfectly scaled down in size to suit smaller paddlers.
  • Resistant: Our patented RAM-X material is known for its high-impact resistance and will make your kayak last through time.
  • Comfortable: Paddle in comfort with an adjustable ERGOFORM padded backrest.

Would this work for a 5’2” adult? Can I have a 5 year old ride with in front of me

5’2” yes you can use it. Not enough room for a 5 yr old in it also. My 15 lb dog barely fits.

No, you cannot attach a trollig motor the kayak would not be able to handle the weight and pressure

I weigh 235 and use one design for 250 pounds. This model is really better for small people
