This ad says '8 D-rings to secure seats for one or two person use' but all the photos show 3 people.. is the 3rd persons seat not secured?
The third seat is secured by the D-rings at the mid point of the kayak. Works very well.
can this withstand salt water?
Yes. No problem at all with salt water.
