I am not sure about crappie but they are great for striped bass at Lake Texoma.

Yes ma’am you sure can but I would leave that purchase up to your husband. The reason your husband should take care of this task is he knows what he will be fishing for and where he will fish. What will be attached is called a jig. A jig is basically a metal head affixed to a hook with a skirt or soft plastic body pulled onto the hook shaft. Jigs come in a myriad of types, colors and weights depending on what type of fish he is fishing for. There is also many different hook sizes and styles to choose from. It is the fisherman’s job to put all this together in a manner the fish will want to bite it.I hope this helps you and your husband.God Bless and be well

Yes, I believe you are supposed to bend the arms out. Easier to package and ship when they are all bunched together. I bent mine out, not at a drastic angle, but out enough to make it look like a small group of bait fish.

These are sold as single rigs.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are these small enough to crappie fish with. I've made and purchased some in the past that are smaller. Would these work also ?

Are you suppose to bend the rods outward? It’s all clumped together and looks terrible in the water.
