Unlike other boards that simply bump out the edges near the bindings, the UnderBite technology of the Optimistic pulls in the edges directly alongside the bindings. This clever design redistributes pressure to the tip and tail contacts, providing unmatched edge hold and power when carving at high speeds or navigating icy chutes.

Not only does the Optimistic feature a lightweight and lively combination of bamboo and poplar, but it also includes the innovative Powerdrive 2.0 core. This core incorporates two carbon-wrapped bamboo stringers that are pre-bent into the core, delivering increased power for holding edges through high-speed carves and explosive turns.

And with its wider width, you can ride the Optimistic a few centimeters shorter than your usual length, giving you a more agile feel without sacrificing performance.
