Chesapeake Adventures: Unforgettable Fishing with Capt. James on the Reel Time!

Welcome to Chesapeake Adventures Sportfishing, where you can embark on an unforgettable fishing adventure aboard the Reel Time, guided by Captain James Batchelor. Discover why the Chesapeake Bay is renowned as one of the finest fishing destinations on the East Coast.

The Reel Time, a 40' J-Allen vessel, is powered by a 375 HP Caterpillar diesel engine. It is equipped with essential safety gear, GPS, fishfinder, a private head, and even a bed for your comfort during full-day trips. With a capacity for up to 6 guests, everyone can enjoy fishing simultaneously.

Each trip includes top-quality St. Croix rods, reels, and tackle to ensure an exceptional fishing experience. Captain James provides an icebox to keep your catch fresh. Live bait will be caught along the route, and your catch will be cleaned and filleted. Fishing licenses are taken care of, so you can relax. Remember to bring your own food, drinks, and comfortable soft-soled shoes for a lighter feel on your feet.

Your journey begins at either Breezy Point, MD or Turkey Point Marina in Edgewater—both a quick 30-minute drive from the Washington D.C. Beltway. These locations offer some of the best fishing opportunities in the Maryland Chesapeake Bay, known for its diverse fish species. Target Striped Bass, Perch, Cobia, Spanish Mackerel, Redfish, Black Drum, and more! Capt. James specializes in light tackle fishing and even accommodates fly fishing enthusiasts with their own gear. Other techniques employed include bottom fishing, trolling, and jigging.

Chesapeake Adventures Sportfishing caters to anglers of all skill levels, from beginners to experts. Gather your friends, family, and kids for a productive day of fishing on the magnificent Chesapeake Bay!
