All pictures i see are on pickup beds or kayak trailers. can this be used on top of a suv (i have dodge durango with factory crossbars)? Yes. I am using these on a 2019 Subaru Forester. Easy clamp on to Subaru Aero Crossbars. Unless there is something weird about your crossbars, they should fit.
Will this only hold one kayak? One set of saddles will hold one Kayak. Depending on the length of your cross bars, you may be able to use two sets.
Will this work with square tubing? If so, what size will it accommodates...1 1/2” or 2”? The 1.5 Inch is fine. 2 inch may be pushing it, but it should work.James
