What is the length of the foam blocks?
I'm not home so I cannot give an exact answer; but I believe they are about 18"
Will this work with Thule Square Bars?
These blocks are cut on the top. The angle is in the top as well, which doesn't really allow for them to fit bars correctly. I tried turning them over to fit my bars and they would not work.
How do the straps attach to your car if you don’t have a roof rack?
I run the strap over the kayak and through the car door and then shut the door on the strap. No problems so far
How keep foam pads from drying ouy?
I do not leave them out in the elements on my vehicle for the weather to damage them.
