Welcome to Altmar, New York, with Grateful Adventures. Create cherished memories with your loved ones by spending a day on a river or lake. Our experienced guide, a retired veteran with 7 years of guiding experience, holds an AS in Wilderness Leadership Recreation and a BS in Ecological Restoration. With over 20 years of experience fishing the lake Ontario tributaries and Adirondack park, your captain is well-equipped to provide an enjoyable and productive trip. We are proud to offer discounts for wounded veterans.
Our fishing boat, a 17' Starweld aluminum boat, can accommodate up to 4 guests. Powered by a 90 HP Yamaha engine and equipped with GPS and fishfinder technology, it ensures efficient navigation.
During your trip, you and your group will have the opportunity to catch a variety of fish, including Rainbow Trout, Brown Trout, Lake Trout, and Atlantic Salmon. Various fishing techniques such as light tackle, trolling, jigging, and fly fishing can be utilized to attract and catch your prey. If desired, you are welcome to keep the fish you catch and enjoy them as delicious meals at home.
Our captain will take care of all the fishing rods, reels, tackle, and even provide fly fishing gear. Lures are included in the price. All you need to bring is your fishing license and any snacks or drinks you prefer.
