Healy Outdoors offers guided drift boat and wading trips on the Salmon River and Oswego River. Based in Altmar, New York, our experienced captains, Michael Healy and Rob Healy, will accompany you to your chosen freshwater destination for an unforgettable day of targeting various species. Each drift boat can accommodate up to 3 anglers. If your party exceeds 3 people, please send us a message, as we may need to make arrangements for 2 or more boats. Our 16' Hyde drift boats are propelled either manually (oars) or with the use of a kicker motor.

The species you can expect to catch include Steelhead (Rainbow Trout), Brown Trout, King (Chinook), and Coho Salmon. We employ various effective methods such as trolling, casting, float fishing, fly fishing, and plunking. It's entirely up to you whether you want to keep the fish you catch or release them back into the water. We wholeheartedly encourage youths to join us, ensuring the perpetuation of this wonderful sport. Make it a memorable family outing and bring them along!

Your guide will provide all the necessary fishing gear, including both regular and fly fishing equipment, live bait, lures, and more. However, please remember to bring your fishing licenses, a pair of chest waders, as well as food and drinks to keep yourself refreshed.
