Charter Overview
Come experience the thrill of a guided ice fishing trip with Storm Hawk Sport Fishing in the Traverse City area. Ice fishing is the ideal winter activity to enjoy during your Northern Michigan getaway!
Captain Brady will ensure an enjoyable expedition for both experienced anglers and beginners. No prior experience is required. Depending on the location and conditions, you can expect to target Bass, Trout, Perch, and Pike. Once you reserve a date, the captain will provide more details about the possible species and opportunities.
The best location will be chosen based on your desired fish species and the weather conditions. If the ice conditions allow, you will be transported to the fishing spot using a snowmobile and a "bench seat" sled. In case it's more effective, you will be taken to a heated ice shanty equipped with fishing gear.
Outside the shanty, the guides will set up "tip-ups", which are live bait setups to fish more lines and a wider area. You are welcome to follow the guides and learn how they work. Then, it's time to wait for a bite! At the end of your trip, the guide will safely bring you back to your vehicle.
