Charter Overview
Operating out of various locations on Lake Michigan, Whitecap Charters is your go-to for locating the best fishing spots. Captain Kent Seymour and his experienced team have extensive local knowledge and use top-notch tackle to ensure a successful fishing trip.
Step aboard the "Whitecap II," a spacious 27' American International cuddy cabin. Powered by twin 225 HP Yamaha engines, you'll reach prime fishing grounds in just thirty minutes. With a maximum capacity of six guests, everyone will have ample space to fish comfortably at the same time.
The Whitecap II is fully equipped with advanced navigation gear, including a fishfinder, giving you an advantage on the water. Safety is a priority, with all necessary safety features available onboard. While children are welcome, please remember to bring life vests for kids under 12.
Fishing trips are available from May to the end of October. Enjoy light tackle fishing during the spring and summer months, and switch to heavier gear later in the season. Lake Michigan offers a diverse range of species to target, such as Coho and Chinook Salmon, Steelhead, Lake Trout, Brown Trout, Walleye, and Perch. No matter your fishing experience, there's a fish out there waiting for you.
Included in the price are top-quality gear from Shimano, Okuma, and Ugly Stik. These reliable rods and reels are guaranteed to satisfy, whether you're aiming for a trophy catch or setting a personal record. Live bait and complimentary fish cleaning service at the end of the trip are also provided.
If you wish, catering services can be arranged with advance notice. Captain Kent will take care of your lunch and drinks for an additional fee. Please ensure you purchase a fishing license before your trip.
