Description

AA-Racks Model APX25-E Aluminum Pickup Truck Ladder Rack

This is an aluminum pickup truck rack for ladder, lumber, kayak utilities carrying. It also comes with four aluminum C-clamps for non-drilling installation, making it compatible with a variety of different truck models. It features the rust-free material of aluminum and powder-coated with weather resistant paint. Built to work & last.

The Extension Bar is built on the basic truck rack, which can be seen commonly in the truck rack e-commerce market. The genius of this system is that it still allows for all of the flexibility of the Sliding Cantilever System while protecting your cab from potentially unstable loads.

  • FAQs:

"Will this fit a 2005 Chevy Colorado crew cab?" - It’s very adjustable. Should fit! But the cantilever part sucks; it’s a bad design and smacks the rooftop with weight on it.

"Will this fit a short bed?" - Yes, it fits a 2020 Ranger short bed.

"Can this rack be fastened to a Reading 8-foot body?" - This rack has a sea clamp type of mounting hardware, so you need a bed rail to clamp it to. Or you'd have to pre-drill holes through the base of the rack and use your own bolts.

"Le quedan a Toyota Tacoma?" - Si (Yes).

    Things we like

    • It’s a universal design that fits most pickup trucks.
    • It’s ideal for occasional or seasonal kayak anglers.

    Things we don't like

    • It works using clamps which isn’t super secure plus it doesn’t fit trucks with trim on the lips of the tailgate or bed.
    • It is quite a bit noisy and rattly when traveling at the highway speed limit.
