We absolutely adore the Blacktail 3 Hotel Tent by Big Agnes, whether we're embarking on a camping or backpacking adventure. One feature that really stands out is its spacious vestibule, providing ample room to store bikes or climbing gear when camping at designated sites. Although this does add a little extra weight and size for backpacking purposes, we appreciate the peace of mind that comes with leaving the rain fly behind on dry days. And on those occasions when rain threatens, rest assured that we can easily pack the rain fly and footprint (available separately) without the canopy, resulting in a lighter load on the trail without sacrificing protection from the elements.
