Camalot C4 Package #0.5 - 3
This package includes the latest generation of Black Diamond's Camalot C4, which is considered a standard trad rack by climbing guidebooks. While there are newer options available, Black Diamond has made significant improvements to the original C4. This new generation is 10% lighter than its predecessor and still maintains the same strength as the Ultralight models. The shape, camming angle, and placement ranges remain unchanged, as they have proven to be effective over the years. However, Black Diamond has managed to reduce the weight without compromising its strength.
In addition to being lighter, this generation of the Camalot C4 is also more convenient. The larger cams have stiffer stems, while the smaller cams have more flexible stems, ensuring consistent flexibility across the range. Cams with the same color now feature bi-color slings for easier identification, and the sling's tags are discreetly tucked underneath for a cleaner look. Black Diamond has also given them a new tread pattern to mark the introduction of this new generation of Camalots.
