We have a strong affinity for the Axiom Drysuit for numerous reasons. Firstly, when facing daunting rapids in freezing temperatures, this drysuit greatly enhances the experience. Its construction incorporates the use of breathable GORE-TEX material, ensuring a watertight seal and withstanding harsh weather conditions.
Prior to tackling the chaotic rapids, we securely fasten the body tube over our sprayskirt, creating an impermeable barrier that keeps our kayak completely dry. This allows us to focus solely on maneuvering through the rapids without any worries about water seepage.
The Axiom Drysuit boasts an impressive range of features designed to ensure our comfort and protection. With its hardwearing membrane, it provides unparalleled wind and waterproofing, enabling us to conquer demanding conditions with ease.
The diagonal front entry zipper makes putting on and taking off the drysuit a breeze. This convenient feature saves time and energy, especially when transitioning in and out of the suit between water adventures.
The latex gaskets, complemented by neoprene overcuffs, effectively keep icy waters at bay. This combination creates a reliable barrier against freezing conditions, ensuring our safety and comfort during our excursions.
What's more, the inclusion of a front relief zipper allows for quick and convenient bathroom breaks. This added convenience eliminates the need to completely remove the drysuit when nature calls.
Lastly, the gripper elastic ankles provide a secure and slip-free fit over booties, enhancing our overall experience. With this added stability, we can confidently navigate the waters without any hindrance caused by loose-fitting or ill-fitting gear.
