I'm Abigail Scott, an author, adventurer, and mother of three. When I'm not navigating the beautiful chaos of motherhood, you can find me tackling the turbulent waters as a professional whitewater kayaker or scaling impressive rock faces as a climbing guide. The rush of adrenaline, whether from kayaking or climbing, is a feeling I cherish deeply. But the thrill doesn't stop there; I capture the breathtaking allure of nature through my lens as a professional photographer. And when I'm not submerged in the wild, my software engineering skills amplify my outdoor pursuits, allowing me to harness technology in unique ways. Through my writings, whether articles or blog posts, I share not just my adventures but my heart, hoping to spark a flame of inspiration in others to break boundaries and experience the world's wonders.

Old Town Heron Junior Kids Kayak

Description

Designed for kids, the Old Town Heron Junior Recreational Kayak has an ultra-lightweight single-layer polyethylene hull that's made to be nimble and maneuverable for the smaller paddler.

Shaped to fit a child's body, the kayak's padded, contoured seat provides comfort and added control for a day of fun on the water. Featuring a lightweight foam billet, the Heron Junior is exceptionally stable and easy to handle.

Bow and stern carry handles make transporting the Heron Junior to and from the water easy and quick.

When small arms get tired from paddling and splashing, the Heron Junior's innovative Tag Along Tow System makes it easy to tow the kayak to shore if needed.

This seven-foot, five-inch kayak has a substantial 115-pound maximum load capacity and features a limited lifetime warranty. Paddle sold separately.

Old Town is the world's oldest and largest manufacturer of canoes and kayaks. The company has spent over a century innovating—boat after boat, all while staying true to their Northeast heritage and a long legacy of quality craftsmanship.
