The Osprey Fairview 40L Backpack is our go-to pack when we're traveling light. It is lightweight, durable, and loaded with travel-specific features. This backpack is the smallest pack in the women's Fairview series and has a 40-liter size that is carry-on compliant on most flights. It also features a women-specific fit for added comfort.

One of the standout features of this backpack is the large panel zip access to the main compartment with lockable sliders. It provides easy access to our belongings while ensuring their security. Additionally, this backpack has numerous pockets to cater to our needs, including dual mesh pockets for bottles and quick stowables, a top zippered liquids pocket, a large zippered lower compartment, a zippered front panel stash pocket, an integrated sleeve for a laptop or tablet, and an internal front flap zippered mesh pocket.

The Osprey Fairview 40L Backpack allows us to carry everything we need for a wild weekend or an epic escape to somewhere exotic. It is streamlined yet full-featured, making it the perfect travel companion. The Airscape back panel provides ventilation for better comfort, while the high-denier ripstop fabric ensures lightweight durability. The backpack's lightweight wire frame transfers weight to the hip belt, and both the harness and hip belt can be stowed if checking luggage.

For compact packing, this backpack has internal and external compression straps. It also has loops to attach an Osprey Day-Lite Day Pack (not included) for added versatility. Furthermore, the fabrics used in this backpack are certified for a good environmental footprint, allowing us to travel responsibly.
