I'm Abigail Scott, an author, adventurer, and mother of three. When I'm not navigating the beautiful chaos of motherhood, you can find me tackling the turbulent waters as a professional whitewater kayaker or scaling impressive rock faces as a climbing guide. The rush of adrenaline, whether from kayaking or climbing, is a feeling I cherish deeply. But the thrill doesn't stop there; I capture the breathtaking allure of nature through my lens as a professional photographer. And when I'm not submerged in the wild, my software engineering skills amplify my outdoor pursuits, allowing me to harness technology in unique ways. Through my writings, whether articles or blog posts, I share not just my adventures but my heart, hoping to spark a flame of inspiration in others to break boundaries and experience the world's wonders.

Sevylor Alum Oars

Sevylor Alum Oars

Description

Get more from the oars that transport you accross the water with a pair of Sevylor Heavy-Duty Aluminum Oars. The stainless steel connectors that hold together the aluminum shafts add strength and durability to these oars. The lightweight design allows you to use your strength to row deeper for more speed. The ribbed hand grip and a drip ring on each shaft allows for a firmer grip for more confident rowing. When you're done for the day, these oars are collapsible for easy, compact storage.

Sturdy, lightweight aluminum shafts with stainless steel connectors.

Ribbed hand grips for a more confident grasp.

Drip rings for a dry, firm grip.

Collapsible design for more compact storage.

59 in. oar length.

Includes 2 oars.

Q: What diameter oar lock will these fit in?

A: I used 1 1/2 inch clamp on oar locks.

Q: What size do they collapse down to?

A: They don't collapse. They come apart into two sections of half its size.

Q: Are these long enough to work on a Sevylor hf 360 6-person inflatable, 11' 9" by 5' 7"? If not, what length oars do work?

A: They should work. Fit in a bag. I only use them if the motor doesn't run. If you are rowing a lot, the length is fine, but if you want a more solid wood oar, go for it. You get what you pay for. Great for light duty.

Q: Does this come with oar locks?

A: No. And it is not clear which oar locks, if any, on Amazon will work with Sevylor rafts.
