Will the 20L hold a sleeping bag? That all depends on the size of the sleeping bag
Will these float in the water? If they are buoyant they will.
Will these work in reverse … meaning keeping liquids IN if used to store liquids inside suitcase? I doubt it. These bags are functional and well made...but I seriously doubt they are truly waterproof. The material is definitely water-resistant...but I would not use for liquid containment or as a float bag for water activities.
Can you put them in the washing machine once the are dirty? I just received these dry sacs, so have not had a chance to get them dirty. That said, I would have no issue with adding them to the laundry with my cool wash load. I would not put them in the dryer.
