Is this kayak good for someone that is 6'5" ?
It would depend on what and where you want to do.(Ocean, River, Lakes or Ponds) How much you weigh. I am not as tall as you but I weigh about 210lbs and always carry some kind of gear with me on the kayak (Fishing or depending the trip) . I would recommend a longer one for the ocean (Tarpon 120 ) which I also have. I love the 105 for when I go in creeks and rivers. In any case the 105 is a great kayak in my opinion. Make sure you get a good paddle. It is important that you’re “engine” gets you home! Do youresearch.
Does this kayak have Scupper holes?
YES. It has 6 I believe. 4 in the main hull and 2 in the back. I bought the wilderness system scupper plugs. I have used them on calm days to keep my feet dry or if the water is really cold. I plan on using the scupper plugs in the back to put my dog back there. I am on a lake. Havent done a river yet but looking forward to it.
