Made in the USA, the Aqua Bound Stingray Hybrid Posi-Lok 4-Piece Paddle is the lightest flatwater injected molded kayak paddle at this price point. The carbon shaft is light and comfortable in our hands while the mid-sized, fiberglass-reinforced nylon blades are designed for forgiveness with a dihedral shape that limits fluttering and quietly enters and exits the water. The 4-piece construction lets the paddle pack down small, making it a premium emergency paddle or portable paddle for traveling and portaging.
We also like the Posi-Lok ferrule, which lets us feather the blades either direction in 15-degree increments to adjust to changing water and weather conditions.
