What is the recommended maximum thrust?
I have a 55lbs thrust Minn Kota on a H12 Ascend kayak. I went up to 4 out of 5 speed. I figured on 4th speed it still withstand the torque and all the pressure the motor exert on the holder mechanism. I did not try to subject the holder to the maximum capacity of the motor, but I am sure it will take it without flexing. My only concern was the degree of freedom between the plastic joints that causes a bit (not too much) of displacement under high speed. Overall, I was positive with this product.
