BTP Mano Electric Turbo Pump

Description

BTP Mano Two Stage Electric Turbo Pump for Inflatable Kayaks

The BTP Mano Two Stage Electric Turbo Pump is a powerful and efficient pump designed for inflating inflatable kayaks and other high air volume products. It features a two-stage inflation process, with a low pressure/high volume turbine blower in the first stage and a high pressure piston for higher PSI in the second stage.

With this pump, you can easily inflate your kayak from 1 to 14.5 PSI. It has a rapid inflation capability thanks to the high capacity turbine blower, and once the selected pressure is reached, it automatically stops inflating. This is particularly useful for products with high air volume requirements.

The pump comes with a 102" (8'6") cable with alligator clips, a 72" (6') inflation hose, and common valve adapters. However, please note that the 12-volt battery needed to operate the pump is not included. Additionally, it cannot be plugged into wall outlets or used with a car cigarette lighter.

The BTP Mano Two Stage Electric Turbo Pump weighs 5.5 lbs and has dimensions of 12" x 4" x 6", making it relatively compact and lightweight. It has a maximum draw of 20 Amps.

This pump is recommended for use with various Sea Eagle inflatable kayaks, including the Explorer and FastTrack models, as well as FoldCat inflatable pontoon boats and Frameless Fishing Boats. It is also suitable for LongBoard Hybrid SUPs, NeedleNose Touring SUPs, PaddleSki, RazorLite Inflatable Kayak, SailCat Sport Runabouts, and Yacht Tenders. However, please be aware that it cannot be shipped by air and is not intended for commercial use.

We have also gathered some frequently asked questions about the BTP Mano Two Stage Electric Turbo Pump:

1. Does this fit for Boston valve? These white adapters sold on sea eagle.com under extras and pumps may fit. For 100% confirmation, please call the company at 800-748-8066. Their customer service department is very helpful.

2. What is the best travel size battery to use with this product?
In our experience, the best battery for this pump is the BTPKNI12V Ni-Mh High Power/Efficiency Battery Pack Kit. It is a Ni-Mh battery that fits in the side pocket. Another option is a lead acid battery, which is cheaper but has half the run time and charge time compared to the Ni-Mh. You can purchase them from windbone: thekitebuddy.com

3. Will this work with a li-ion battery pack designed to start vehicles with weak batteries?
If you connect the pump to your li-ion battery pack and it works, then it is compatible. However, if it does not work, it may require more amps. Generally, as long as the battery pack has a 12-volt output, it should work.

4. Will this work on the Imagine paddle boards?
This pump is a dual-action pump, and the air pressure can be adjusted for most inflated devices. Unfortunately, we do not know the specific adapter you will need for your Imagine paddle board.

Things we like

  • The Atoll pump is small enough to fit in the palm of your hand, yet its construction is such that it won't break even if you unintentionally knock it over or drop it on the floor.
  • Carry Bag Included: You don't need to worry about attempting to cram it into one of the additional pouches that come with your SUP package. Make transporting your Bravo easier by using the carry bag that comes with it.
  • Simple and Fast Inflation: All you have to do is turn the Dial to the PSI you want, hit the button, and then sit back and let your electric pump do the work. The Atoll SUPs may be inflated with this electric pump in as little as 8 minutes.

Things we don't like

  • 12 V Battery only: While it isn't difficult at all to open the hood of the vehicle, we hope that shortly, there will be a combo option available that includes alligator clips and a car outlet.
  • 14.5 PSI limit: This is a more compact electric pump designed specifically for smaller SUPs. If you have a more considerable SUP, it is strongly recommended that you check into other electric pumps instead.
