I only used this on lakes and slow moving rivers and it worked fine but I’ve never used it in the ocean... I’m sure it is perfect SUP for calm Waters

I don’t think it matters if you remove it before or after you deflate, but I wouldn’t leave it on permanently out of worry for damage to the large fin while it is stored in the travel bag.

I left mine blown up all summer and just pulled it in and out of the garage. You don't want to leave it in the sun or heat for long periods of time though because the air inside will expand and may cause damage. I deflated and folded it up for the fall/winter/spring to avoid any damage from the cold weather.
