How much does motor weigh? - The shipping weight (in package) is 26 lbs. Shipping carton and inserts estimated at 3-4lbs. Estimated weight of trolling motor itself is around 22-23lbs. Thank you.
Battery life...12v? - The thing with all of these manually controlled trolling motors is that in order to control the heat buildup in the control arm the heat is shunted which in effect wastes some battery power. But you can connect a pulse width modulator between the motor and the battery (removing that control arm) and create your own control panel from it to variably control the forward and reverse speeds.
